I don't understand the mixed reviews w/re food quality. We are Europeans, and just visited Italy a few months ago; the food at Il Bacio was very authentic, flavorful, not heavy or greasy, and had that special "cooked with love" feeling. The ambiance was lovely and the service was very attentive. On a Saturday night there was no wait. Awesome experience all around, highly recommend, I hope you give this lovely little gem a chance to impress you.

I have been traveling for work and found myself at Il Bacio weekly during my last stay in Wake Forest. You can tell it is a family run business that takes great pride in its’ food and customer satisfaction. Every time I have been there, the service has been top notch and the food delicious, with more than generous portions. Jess is a blast behind the bar whose drinks are almost as good as her personality, and Francesca is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in the family business. Don’t miss this place if you’re looking for great food at good prices in the most welcoming environment!

Been coming here for about 10 years now. I'd say it's still fantastic but that wouldn't be quite accurate. I'd argue it's aged like fine wine and gotten even better than when we first came. Stopped in tonight after practice to grab a small pie to share and dine in. The atmosphere for Christmas is beyond fantastic. Warm, cozy and inviting. Makes you want to just hang out and enjoy the ambiance. The pizza is absolutely the best in wake forest. If you're a NY style pizza fan, I'd argue it's one of the best in the triangle. I've had their calzones and other items before as well. Everything is also very fairly priced. One of the items we love that's slightly off menu is the chicken Parm sub made with vodka sauce. Soo good, and they make the sauce fresh. Definitely stop here if you get the opportunity. The staff is always fantastic and friendly. Seated quickly, attentive towards drink refills which is a big deal that a lot of places can miss on. So glad to have them in the neighborhood and look forward to continuing to support them now and in the future!

Love it here! We got takeout a couple times during peak of covid and it was amazing. We went dine in on Saturday and the food was even better in house and our server was super attentive and friendly and upbeat. Update: amazing as usual, the bruschetta was fantastic and everyone was very happy with their meals. Francesca is a wonderful and friendly server!

Our first time eating here was a very good experience, the food is very fresh, large portions, very authentic, but the service was even better. Ask for Adrianna, she makes me think of the past when servers were friendly, polite, knew the menu and cared about the customers experience. As a previous server myself, she won me over immediately! We ordered tortellini Genovese, rigatoni alfredo, and a pizza, everything was delicious.

Our second time here and it always hits the spot , the food is hearty and fresh and made with skill . A chilled atmosphere with bits of Italiana around to give it a little character. Seating is comfy especially in the booths . When it gets busy it does get loud but that's hardly something fixable . The menu is very extensive bordering on confusing but I doubt any choice would be bad. The bread offered for the table is great but lacks the olive oil and balsamic dip to really add the Italian feel. Outside dining is handy when it gets hot and parking is more than easy. All In all a great place to visit

This restaurant came highly recommend and I'm so glad that we went. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. The wait staff was so nice and friendly. Even gave us great advice on meal options. The owners wife was so sweet and welcoming. The meal was so good that we actually ordered food to go the next day. Would highly recommend!
